These works by Nicholas Duchnowski are visualizations of a quaternion Julia set--a three dimensional slice of a four dimensional object. Although these are mathematical visualizations, the flowing forms and expressive colors invite the viewer to imagine a sense of definition or purpose in each of the images.

immersive interactive application

Lissajous is a poem in the language of mathematics and programming. Each line can be read, but only by those who have the required training. The form is lovely and the color appealing, but, for most who would know her, Lissajous can only ever be admired from afar.
