 standard HD15

A standard HD15 male connector is provided on the stage to connect to laptops capable of VGA graphics output.  Additionally, composite NTSC video or several formats of component video can be displayed, again from connectors available on the stage.

All inputs and outputs are connected through patchbays to allow extensive adaptation of the system
to differing needs of presenters

Mackie 24/8 audio console

The heart of the audio system in the auditorium is a Mackie 24/8 audio console.  It is capable of accepting 24 audio inputs, has eight submaster outputs, a program output to feed the record
inputs of various recording media, and a control room monitoring output.

The primary audio feeds into the Mackie are from four Sony wireless microphone systems.  These
four feeds can be any combination of hand-held or lavalier microphones.

The microphones function anywhere in the auditorium, allowing sound pick-up from within the audience.

Up to five additional hard-wired microphones can also be utilized on the stage.

Four corner-mounted Genelec 1032A powered speakers provide localized sonification, adding depth to a conventional ElectoVoice auditorium horn array.  Recording of presentations is possible on DAT or cassette tape

Two channels of computer, VCR or other line-level audio can be sent to the Mackie from connectors on the stage. A Digital Audio Tape (DAT) player/recorder, dual cassette player/recorder, Digital Video Tape (DVD) player and Compact Disk (CD) player are located in the projection room for audio enhancement/recording.
