A small group of virtual reality researchers, including
a representative from the ISL, got together at Xavier University in New
Orleans to generate enthusiasm for a new program in VR at that
university. An inexpensive passive stereo display ("geo-wall")
and a VR cluster made from linux laptops were both demonstrated.
