On February 5th, 6th and 7th, the Department of Dance in the College of
Fine and Applied Arts at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign will
present Festival 2004, featuring seven performances choreographed
by UIUC faculty. As part of the Chancellor's Cross-Campus Initiative
"Arts in a Technology Intensive World", the Integrated Systems
Laboratory at the Beckman Institute is collaborating with Dance Professor
Luc Vanier to present "Dreaming Meat", an impressive melding of
modern dance, computer-generated, motion-capture driven graphical imagery
and motion-driven music. Please attend one of the three performances
