On Sunday September 18th, 2003 the ISL's visualization initiative literally "set up tent" in Peoria's Wildlife Prairie Park for a very good cause.  As part of the Children's Heart Institute of Illinois and the Organization for Understanding Children's Hearts 17th Annual T.O.U.C.H.  picnic, this immersive visualization display drew many of the 600 picnic attendees to view and control a beating heart demonstration provided by the Electronic Visualization Laboratory at the University of Illinois Chicago.
